Reliable Systems
English Law Reliable Systems Assurance Model
Delivering the Electronic Trade Documents Act Provisions
The Electronic Trade Documents Act received Royal Assent on 21 July and comes into force on 20 September.
The Centre for Digital Trade and Innovation has set out the principles it will be applying in the next phase of its work to establish the model for “reliable systems” as described in the Act, the processes for assessment and audit and the registry of reliable systems C4DTI intends to implement so that users can have some assurance of reliability when choosing which system to use to trade digitally.
The Centre for Digital Trade & Innovation intends to have the first draft of the model for consideration by as wide a group of stakeholders as possible in the Autumn and for that to be iterated over the final quarter of this year.
